is proud to showcase the work of Darren Cook, a renowned artist.
Darren has loved animals for as long as he can remember. His
passion for art also started at a young age and he would
frequently combine his love of animals and his artistic passion
into portraits that were detailed and lifelike. As a youth
Darren was introduced to Thoroughbred Racing and became an avid
fan of the sport. This gave him the opportunity to paint
horses regularly for Owners, Jockeys and Trainers. As an Artist
and Racing enthusiast he has traveled to international racing
festivals in Hong Kong, Australia, Ireland, France, England and
Japan.
Darren
has done commissions of Paint horses, Arabians and Quarter
Horses as well as Thoroughbreds. He has won numerous awards
and was given a scholarship to study at the prestigious American
Academy of Art in San Francisco. Darren was also the youngest
artist ever to design for the Japanese Porcelin House, Otagiri. His
portraits Have been featured at Racetracks, Art shows and
Charity Gallas and his works hang in private collections in the
United States, Australia, Ireland and the UK. The skill and
detail in which he captures the likeness and personality of his
subjects has made his work highly sought after.
